This course is intended to familiarize contractors with Comm 20-25. They will gain knowledge about the procedures needed to apply for a variance from a building code (Comm 20-25) and are able to clearly convey these codes to their customers. The course lists the division actions and the procedures including time limits for appealing a decision by the Dept. of Commerce. A Wisconsin UDC Building Permit is included in the materials, as well as an energy worksheet. The test is “open book” format and the questions are either multiple choice or true false.
